3月4日 My February TourI don't write blogs here anymore, but I've uploaded a new gallery from when I went round the UK following (and meeting) The Boy Least Likely To, James Blunt and Jason Mraz. I've got millions more but this silly space has a limited capacity, and it would probably drive you all insane if I uploaded ten zillion pics of Blunty Boy. So I will keep the rest for my own amusement. Nana. Beardy was lovely absolutely lovely to meet.  Abuse of my space to abuse my friendsSome idiot has been taking pictures of one of my good friends from my space photo albums and then using them to launch a tirade of abuse against her on her website forum.
If I find out who you are, that has been nicking my photos for such a disgusting purpose, you will not like it.
This is not libel or slander or a threat.
This is a general comment in my own personal blog. If you are reading this and feels this applies to you, then it is nothing but your own problem and I suggest you deal with your own issues before you complain to me.
Thank you. Old JumperI think I'm outgrowing Gibraltar. I always knew it wasn't really ME, but I stuck it out anyway, the way you keep hold of an ancient jumper that you can't bear to throw away. You still put it on to watch TV and bum around the house but you just don't know if you really like it anymore. It's old, you've seen it a million times, you're sick of it and it does you no favours. The thing is, you love it so much you can't bear to get rid of it completely. So in the meantime you buy new clothes and wear them... but deep down the old sweater is always there gathering those fuzzball things.
I have to come up with some sort of plan. I've got possibilities sitting in the wings, waiting for me to make my mind up about what I'm going to actually DO with my life. I know I can't sit in Gib indefinitely and rot away. I feel like I'm being held back or suppressed by a dark force. It really is that bad. I feel sick with worry that my life is slipping away here and that everyone else is leading a much more exciting and fulfilling life.
With this in mind, I am going to investigate the possibility of putting all my shit in storage, renting my flat out to unsuspecting tourists, and buggering off to England to work in a much more fun job. I just need to think about the job part, but I have got experience under my belt so I should be able to come up with something. I need to stick around here in 32Red for a while yet though, big things are afoot which will be beneficial to my plans. 9月21日 London CallingWell folks, it's just 17 days until I escape the hole that is Gibraltar and kick my boots around London town. I cannot WAIT let me tell you. A whole 9 days of no work, satisying my wanderlust and randomness of being anonymous in the big city. I don't plan anything except the three nights I'm gonna see James Blunt with my sister-in-law Carolina. The rest of the time I'm gonna immerse myself in shopping shopping and more shopping, with some shopping thrown in for variation. Denmark Street, Oxford Street, Bond Street, Selfridges, omfg I cannot wait!!! And Tube hopping!! My favourite hobby! WHEEEE. I'm so excited! If you are reading this you're probably one of my mates so I might be able to take requests if anyone wants anything brought back from DENMARK STREET (or similar musical shopping experience) as long as it is small enough for me to carry back to Gib. Comments if you will! 9月15日 iPood?Anyone who knows me will know that I hate Apple with a vengeance. It's not a recent thing and it's not biased opinion. I've worked on Apple Macs for many years, in various printing companies. I can use the things. I think that gives me the right to be able to compare/contrast/trash them in favour of PCs.
What really annoys me though, even more than people who buy Apple Macs because they think they are pretty and easy to use, is the pandemic sweeping the planet whereby EVERYONE must own an iPod. I refuse to enter into this insanity. I love my Creative MuVo2 mp3 player, thanks. And when the time comes to upgrade, I know that I have the full scope of the market to choose from instead of being blinkered by iPod mania.
Here's a conversation I had with my brother, who now owns (not by choice but in order to make an informed opinion about their crappiness) one iPod Mini and one Apple Mac Mini. (Nice chuckable frisby-like sizes, for maximum aerodynamic performance when being thrown out of a window)

You can see for yourself in my new photo album. Managed to get me backstage so I took some really good shots I wouldn't have been able to get if I had only been allowed at the front. The front was a dangerous place to be anyway, with the mosh pit! Some poor guy decided to do a stage dive and the people opened up and he hit the painful floor! PS: Try saying LOLOLOL and ROFL as words next time you're laughing 7月28日 Seven Sins VideoThe 2 days of hard work by Anton, Seven Sins, Jay and extras a few weeks back has now resulted in a fab video being created by the first person I mentioned! Unfortunately I won't be uploading it here, because it's huge, but I have plans to create a flash player so people can watch it streaming on the webby. There will be a viewing party beforehand for all the fans and friends of the band to watch Concrete on the big screen. I can't wait for that, this is the best video I've seen come out of Gib that's for sure... and I think if Anton had more time to work on it (time limits loomed) it could have been even better. But - that can be next video! 7月10日 Return of the HollCat came home on the same day I lost her. I went home to check for her at lunch and saw her wandering up the steps on the beach. I shouted down Hollyyyyyy, she looked up and howled OWWWW back and then we ran towards eachother in slow motion and the rest is history.
She's all knotty and dirty so I've been clipping her fur today and brushing her, accidentally tugged hair while clipping and she went OWWW - la pobre I am so mean to her. 7月8日 Lost Holly!Holly went outside for her usual wander this morning and didn't come back! I've been searching all around the estate and the beach and the road but can't find her. I'm so worried. I just hope she has been accidentally locked inside a neighbour's flat without them noticing, and they've gone to work. At least that way I kind of know she is safe. If anyone sees Holly around Gib please call me and let me know! I'm so sad, I just want Holly back. That cat is incredible and I love her so much. It's not big, it's not clever and it's not very entertaining viewing. SAD FUCKERS. 6月21日 Unleashed the DragonThis afternoon got my third tattoo.. a dragon on my lower back, right hand side. It's not a Chinese one, it's a proper evil flying one. The guy who did it is called Mika, this Finnish dude who was working at Keith's and who leaves this week, so I'm really glad I managed to get an appointment because he is the best. He also did Rosie's tattoo last week, and it's gorgeous. When I get photos done I'll upload em I guess. Yeah baby! Also its a really good day cos I got my precious bike fixed and am riding it again, my baby, and I bought the James Blunt album which is kick arse. Sure I could have downloaded it for free but I feel like supporting the guy cos he is so good. It seems each gig is even more hyped than the last... the Bitches arrived wearing matching 7 Sin ties and stripy outfits. Rosie and I had our 007 Sins tops and weird glowsticks in our hair... Cyonide supported, were pretty good but I don't think the place was full enough at that point. It got packed out as the night wore on, and the mosh pit was extra dangerous... Rosie's mum got in a fight with some dude. Go Rosie's mum! Police shut it down after complaints of noise from some seriously boring neighbours - come onnnn!!! 6月12日 Smacked the bike!Wahey! On my way home on Saturday morning, I crashed the bike! A car in front of me, and myself, were going thru a one-way traffic light system... when suddenly a bird in front of us decided she wanted to jump her red light! So car bloke in front of me slammed on the brakes, and I slammed on my brakes, but it was all too late for me, and like slow motion I ate the back of his Mini (shame, nice car) and bounced off against a wall, then hit the road. Bike is out of action till I get the fork realigned and I've got a big headache still. Thank God for full face helmets! Last time something similar happened I was wearing a cap thingy, and I smashed my face up. At least I just have concussion and hurt my hip, but otherwise ok I guess. Ah well! |
